This is the story behind the Future Filmmakers Foundation Music Video Challenge,

created in partnership with Katy Perry’s Firework Foundation.

After being selected for a weeklong songwriting experience with L.A.A.M.P., 20 L.I.T. students joined the Future Filmmakers Foundation to turn two original tracks into fully produced music videos — filmed in just five hours and created in 24.  Go inside the workshop, the masterclasses, the studio, and the moment these young artists saw their ideas become something realSpecial thanks to our 2026 Mentor Director, Warren Fu,and to our Masterclass Presenter, Rick Garcia, for bringing their time, talent, and magic to this experience.  Documentary shot and edited in 24 hours by the amazing Ruta Swanson of Amber Shore Pictures!
